Job summary

We seek a senior Structural Engineer to lead complex steel designs, ensure code compliance, and collaborate with detailing teams to produce accurate shop drawings. The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years in PEMB or steel structures, and strong software proficiency in MBS, SAP2000, ETABS, IDEA StatiCa, AutoCAD, and Tekla.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Structural focus.
• 5+ years designing pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) and complex steel structures.
• Experience with cranes, mezzanines, and irregular geometries.
• Proficiency in structural design software (MBS, SAP2000, ETABS, IDEA StatiCa).
• Autodesk AutoCAD; some Tekla Structures or IFC modeling.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, detailed structural designs for PEMB meeting codes and manufacturing constraints.
• Perform value engineering to optimize costs while maintaining safety.
• Interpret drawings and coordinate with detailing team for shop drawings.
• Review engineering calculations and cross-checks before production release.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster innovative problem-solving.
• Identify productivity improvements in engineering processes.
