Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a senior developer to design, build, and deliver PEGA-based automation and low-code solutions for Branch Operations. You will translate complex business needs into scalable PEGA enhancements, mentor junior developers, and drive production readiness and governance across projects.

You will partner with stakeholders, manage incidents, and lead technical discovery and documentation efforts to support enterprise-wide technology changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/CS or related field.
• Extensive experience with low-code/no-code platforms and PEGA.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Maven and software development best practices.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and projects in agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into PEGA-based technical solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues through advanced troubleshooting.
• Plan, coordinate and rollout software changes to production with approvals.
• Collaborate daily with team members to align priorities and delivery timelines.
• Provide follow-up to monitor improvements and ensure benefits realization.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing and governance.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation throughout SDLC.
