Job summary

CASES is hiring for a Peer Specialist on the Nathaniel Community Success team in Harlem, NYC. The role supports participants in ATI services, conducts outreach, and coordinates access to mental health, housing, and income supports while guiding clients through recovery processes.

The position is full-time with standard daytime hours and some flexibility for remote work. The candidate should have CPS/CRPA certification and a peer recovery background to empower participants effectively.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with computers and databases is essential.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage participants enrolled in ATI services.
• Conduct outreach to engage client participation and reduce recidivism.
• Perform needs assessments and identify appropriate services (mental health, substance use, education, employment).
• Collaborate with team for case management planning.
