Job summary

Children's Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist II for its Preston Therapy Service at the Preston Specialty Center in Plano, TX. This on-site, full-time role delivers direct SLP services to pediatric patients and works with an interdisciplinary team to advance patient outcomes.

The incumbent will plan and implement individualized treatment programs, supervise staff and students, and ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate or professional degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas.
• CCC-SLP is required by ASHA.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers preferred; Vital Stimulation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct Speech Language Pathology services per standards of practice.
• Assess and document patient progress with valid tools.
• Collaborate with physicians, patients, and family; discharge planning.
• Precept and mentor new staff, students, and rehab aides.
