Job summary

Kennedy Krieger Institute, Inc. seeks an Occupational Therapist IV to lead clinical programs for children with neuro-motor, sensory integration, autism, and developmental delays.

You will supervise OTs and assistants, coordinate intradisciplinary and interdisciplinary training, and maintain essential records in line with departmental policies. The role requires at least five years of licensed OT experience, MD licensure eligibility, and PCM/CPI training.

Qualifications

• Competence across all age groups due to diverse children and families served.
• Clinical focus includes neonate, pediatric, adolescent populations; some adults with disabilities.
• Ability to develop, evaluate, and implement performance improvement measures within the school program area.
• Eligible for Maryland OT licensure, and PCM/CPI training provided by department.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, develop, implement, supervise clinical programs; ensure quality assurance.
• Screen, evaluate, and treat students per IEP.
• Supervise fieldwork students, OTs, and assistants.
• Maintain documentation including student reports, progress notes, billing, and IEP records.
• Instruct parents and caregivers in home therapy techniques to promote skill generalization.
• Participate in interdisciplinary orientation and teaching programs.
• Assist in developing school documentation and department policies; maintain equipment and supplies.
• Support personal and professional growth initiatives for staff.
