Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System is seeking a Senior Research Nurse to join the Nicklaus Children's Hospital Research Institute's centralized team. You will support the CTO and collaborate with PI teams, study staff, and hospital departments to ensure research is conducted under applicable regulations and sponsor requirements.

You will develop and implement educational activities related to research, disease prevention, and patient care, while guiding clients and families and ensuring quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• RN licensure in Florida or multi-state licensure.
• IATA certification within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS within 3 months of hire; PALS within 6 months; BLS ongoing.
• 2–4 years of professional research or healthcare experience; 1–3 years of Phase 1 clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate team activities to ensure studies follow protocol, SOPs, budgets and regulations.
• Plan logistics for procedures; identify and mitigate risks.
• Deliver training materials and ensure required certifications are current.
• Coordinate collection and analysis of clinical research data.
• Recruit study subjects and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare reports, data requests, and progress presentations.
