Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago is seeking a dedicated clinical research professional to coordinate all aspects of pediatric clinical studies. You will oversee start-up, regulatory submissions, and monitoring, ensuring adherence to FDA/HSR/GCP standards.

The role involves data management, participant engagement, and mentoring of research staff, with opportunities to contribute to manuscripts and national presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two or more years research experience required.
• Two-three years with complex research projects preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple simultaneous studies.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong knowledge of FDA, HSR, and GCP Guidelines.
• May assist in technology system implementation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all clinical research activities with minimal supervision.
• Oversees all aspects of clinical research projects including start-up, site qualification, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits.
• Maintains regulatory documents and SOPs to ensure compliance with protocols and standards.
• Promotes ethical conduct and data integrity across studies.
• Manages budgeting support and grant-related reporting activities.
• Provides training and mentorship to study personnel.
• Leads dissemination of research findings through manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations.
• Performs other assigned research-related duties.
