Job summary

Wellington Management seeks a Senior Analyst, Private Equity Operations, to drive execution and management of private deal lifecycle activities, including approvals, settlements, and corporate actions. You will coordinate with legal, investors, trading, and back-office teams, and oversee private placement vendors and supporting technology.

You will analyze deal documentation, track covenants, and help optimize processes across new funds and asset classes, with strong data and reporting

Qualifications

• 4-7 years supporting end-to-end lifecycle of private equity/real estate investments.
• Deep understanding of private equity concepts across asset classes.
• Experience with private equity/real estate tech platforms (Dynamo, EDGAR, SEC.gov, IVP, Bellwether, Geneva).
• Strong technical skills to improve operations (SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, Excel macros, AI).
• Intellectual curiosity with analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization and time management with minimal guidance.
• Strong written/oral communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute private equity deal lifecycle with focus on approval, execution, and lifecycle events (IPO, liquidity exits, actions).
• Coordinate deal approvals with issuers and internal teams (Legal, Investors, Trading, Valuations, back-office).
• Analyze legal docs to operationalize deals (Purchase, Credit, Subscription, Merger Agreements).
• Track covenants and position changes across new and existing deals.
• Coordinate activities during impactful events (IPOs, restricted shares, SEC filings, corporate actions).
• Review reconciliation reports to ensure daily accuracy of investment books.
• Adapt processes and systems to support new funds/assets; improve controls and workflows.
• Provide data support for performance and LP reporting.
