Job summary

Wellington Management is seeking a Senior Analyst, Private Equity Operations, to lead the execution and management of operational activities across the private deal lifecycle. The role requires coordination with legal, investing, trading, and back-office teams and oversight of private placement vendors.

You will enhance processes and technology, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure timely communication of events such as IPOs, corporate actions, and liquidity events.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years supporting private equity, real estate, evergreen and secondaries investments.
• Experience reviewing private investment legal documents and tracking restrictions.
• Experience with deal execution/settlement and lifecycle events.
• Strong technical skills to improve operational processes (SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, Excel macros, AI).

Responsibilities

• Execute all components of the private equity deal lifecycle with focus on deal approval and lifecycle events.
• Coordinate deal approval and lifecycle processes with private issuers and internal teams.
• Analyze legal documents to operationalize each deal (Purchase, Credit, Subscription, Merger agreements).
• Track covenants and position changes for new and existing deals during equity structure changes.
• Coordinate activities for IPOs, restricted shares cleanings, SEC registration and corporate actions.
• Review reconciliation reports to ensure accurate investment book of record daily.
• Evolve processes and systems to support new funds and asset classes.
• Ensure stakeholders receive timely communications on private placements.
• Support data needs for performance and LP reporting.
