Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Senior Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to lead PCBA process development and sustainment in a highly regulated medical device environment, applying IPC standards and FDA requirements. You'll drive DFM/DFA, IQ/OQ/PQ, supplier oversight, NPI readiness, and cross‑functional collaboration with R&D, design, and operations to ensure compliant, high‑quality production.

Mentor engineers, lead audits, implement SPC, and push continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma, kaizen

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 4 years of re/experience in PCBAs or medical device manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of PCBA processes (SMT, through-hole, soldering, cleaning).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and NPI programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, validation, and improvement of complex PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Own IQ/OQ/PQ activities from planning through approval.
• Drive DFM/ DFA guidelines with design teams.
• Lead root-cause analysis for PCBA failures and implement corrective actions.
• Define process control plans, FMEAs, and KPIs for PCBA processes.
• Serve as PCBA manufacturing engineering lead for NPI programs and production transfer.
