Job summary

Tilde Bio, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with deep PCB design expertise to join a multidisciplinary team.

You will design, lay out, integrate, and validate complex PCBs for a next-generation proteomics platform, collaborating with firmware, mechanical, and bioengineering to deliver robust hardware from concept to production. The candidate should have 7+ years in PCB design, strong signal/power integrity skills, experience with high-speed interfaces, and hands-on board bring-up.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in PCB design and hardware development.
• Expertise in multilayer PCB design for mixed-signal/high-speed systems.
• Experience with USB, Ethernet, PCIe, DDR, SPI, I2C interfaces.
• Deep knowledge of signal/power integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC.
• Hands-on board bring-up, debugging, and lab instrumentation.
• Experience taking products from prototype to manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex multilayer PCBs for advanced instrumentation.
• Architect mixed-signal, high-speed, low-noise circuits including analog front ends and data acquisition.
• Collaborate with SW/HW teams and vendors for HW–SW integration.
• Create and maintain schematics, layouts, validation reports, and specs.
• Drive design reviews, DFM, and DFT best practices.
• Contribute to IP generation and technical strategy discussions.
