Job summary

Teradyne in North Reading, MA is seeking a PCB Signal and Power Integrity Hardware Engineer to develop scripts, assist in floorplanning, and solve high-speed SI/PI challenges. You will work with hardware design teams to ensure designs meet strict specs and bring-up smoothly.

Applicants should have a BS/MS in EE or ECE, 15+ years of relevant experience, and strong Cadence/Ansys/Mentor/Keysight skills. Local candidates only; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
• Primary experience with Cadence, Ansys, Mentor Graphics or Keysight tools.
• Strong knowledge of transmission-line theory and EM fields.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and collaboration tools.
• Experience with lab measurements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom code and scripts to speed set-up using Cadence or utilities.
• Support PCB Layout via floorplanning and stack-up trade-offs.
• Collaborate with HW circuit design teams to address high-speed SI/PI problems.
• Organize and run high-priority simulations to prevent design escapes.
