Job summary

Jabil is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to perform complex inspection procedures on circuit boards and assemblies, ensuring conformance to quality standards at pre-ship and final production stages. You will verify machine setup, read documentation, and select appropriate inspection methods.

You will apply electrical principles and Jabil QC standards to determine pass/fail, access customer systems, and report issues to customers or supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ years experience in a relevant Jabil production position.
• Advanced PC Skills and training and experience in applicable software.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex inspection procedures on circuit boards and assemblies to ensure quality levels are met.
• Verifies correct machine set-up prior to running assemblies.
• Reads and interprets documentation from reference materials.
• Selects appropriate inspection methods (e.g., first article checks, sampling, 100% inspection).
• Applies electrical knowledge and Jabil QC standards to determine pass/fail of parts or assemblies.
• Accesses customer quality inspection systems and communicates quality issues to customers.
• Determines cause and effect of defects and refers findings for correction.
• Reviews and approves solutions or escalates to Quality Supervisor as needed.
• Acts as final checkpoint for finished goods prior to shipment.
• Trains others in QC processes and procedures.
