Job summary

Integress, Inc. in Lake Forest, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to define and optimize PCBA manufacturing processes, including solder paste printing, SMT placement, and reflow profiling.

You will review PCB designs for manufacturability, program SMT equipment, analyze defects, create WI and BOMs, and support ISO 9000/AS9100/13485 initiatives to ensure high yield and product reliability. Strong CAD skills and IPC knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or related discipline required; electronics/electrical/mechanical preferred.
• 5 years manufacturing engineering experience preferred for aerospace/defense/medical/semiconductor customers.
• Strong verbal and written technical communication skills.
• CAD knowledge required (AEGIS preferred).
• Experience with IPC/J-STD-001 standards and design for manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and define manufacturing processes to maximize yield.
• Review PCB designs for manufacturability to ensure reliable assembly.
• Program SMT equipment (pick-and-place, AOI, X-ray) and support tooling.
• Investigate defects, perform failure analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Create and update work instructions, process specifications, and BOMs.
• Provide sustaining engineering support and collaborate with design and production teams.
• Contribute to ISO-9000/AS9100/ISO-13485 certification efforts.
