Energy Jobline ZR in San Jose, CA, is seeking an experienced PCBA Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize PCBA processes, including solder paste application, pick and place, and reflow soldering. You will collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability while driving process control, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.

The role requires hands-on testing, data analysis, and strong documentation discipline, with adherence to ESD and safety

Qualificações

• Develop and optimize PCBA manufacturing processes for reliable production.
• Ensure manufacturability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness with cross-functional teams.
• Define process control methods and maintain documentation and compliance.
• Lead quality control tests, inspections, and CAPA with QA teams.
• Monitor KPIs like yield, cycle time, and defect rate for improvement.
• Investigate issues and implement corrective actions to minimize failures.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize PCBA manufacturing processes including solder paste, pick and place, reflow, and inspection.
• Evaluate equipment, tools, and technologies to improve productivity and yield.
• Define and implement process control methodologies and maintain work instructions.
• Develop QC measures; conduct tests, inspections, and audits to resolve non-conformities.
• Monitor KPIs such as yield, cycle time, and defect rate to drive improvements.
• Investigate PCBA process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and technical support to production teams on PCBA processes.
• Collaborate with design, component, and manufacturing teams for DFM considerations.
• Ensure ESD protocols and safety regulations are followed.
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and quality.
