Job summary

EPC Power is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to independently troubleshoot complex PCB assemblies and electrical subsystems used in EPC Power conversion systems. You will diagnose failures to the circuit or component level, lead structured root cause investigations, and develop corrective actions for production, development, and field-return issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of troubleshooting complex PCB assemblies and electronic systems.
• Ability to lead root cause investigations and document technical findings.
• Proficiency with advanced oscilloscope measurements and lab instrumentation.
• Ability to interpret PCB layouts, schematics, BOMs and datasheets.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot complex PCB assemblies that are not functioning as intended.
• Diagnose board-level failures to circuit or component level using a structured approach.
• Lead root cause investigations for recurring production failures.
• Develop testing plans, fault-isolation methods, and validation activities.
• Identify design or process contributors to PCB failures.
• Prepare clear technical reports and collaborate with multiple teams to close issues.
• Mentor technicians and junior engineers in diagnostic techniques and safe troubleshooting.
• Participate in design reviews with emphasis on test coverage and serviceability.
