Job summary

SAMTEC, Inc. seeks a senior PCB fabrication/engineering leader to own the PCB segment of programs, coordinating with signal integrity engineers, designers and fab partners to ensure on-time, manufacturable boards.

You will manage vendor-agnostic stackups, impedance rationale, DFM questions, and qualification of new fabrication suppliers and processes such as HDI/UHDI, SLP, and substrate constructions, driving cost and schedule discipline.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical field; MS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the PCB segment of program schedules from quote through dock.
• Interface with SI engineers, PCB designers, and fabrication suppliers.
• Develop and maintain vendor-agnostic stackups and impedance documentation.
• Evaluate design packages for manufacturability and cost risk.
• Lead qualification of new fabrication suppliers and processes such as HDI/UHDI/SLP.
