Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a PCB Fabrication Engineer with experience in PCB and substrate manufacturing for RF product applications. You will develop new materials, set design rules, and collaborate with suppliers to enable high-volume production.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in PCB manufacturing or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s or higher in Chemistry or Engineering is required.
• Knowledge of PCB design and fabrication standards.
• Experience with PCB materials, vias, finishes and substrate considerations.

Responsibilities

• Interface between design community and supply base to plan technology roadmaps.
• Develop, qualify, and support clean launch of new PCB materials and processes.
• Design material and surface finish evaluations; run DOE studies.
• Use project management methods to plan and monitor complex development projects.
• Solve problems related to new technologies and supply chain capabilities.
• Travel to PCB suppliers to provide technical support and resolve issues.
