Job summary

Nexr in Greater Cleveland, OH is seeking an experienced Electrical/PCB Design Engineer to lead hands-on board design and layout for complex multilayer PCBs. You’ll translate electrical and mechanical requirements into practical layouts, collaborate with engineers to resolve board-level challenges, and support designs through prototyping and production stages. This full-time onsite role requires strong hands-on PCB expertise and ownership mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and laying out multilayer PCBs.
• Proficiency in Allegro or Altium; other tools acceptable.
• Understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM).

Responsibilities

• Design and lay out multilayer PCBs (6–8+ layers).
• Use Allegro/Altium for placement and routing.
• Translate electrical/mechanical requirements into practical layouts.
• Collaborate with engineers to review designs and resolve issues.
• Support revisions through prototyping and production.
