You’ll collaborate across Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance from concept to production.

The role emphasizes controlled-impedance design, high-speed routing, and noise management in complex boards, including rigid-flex and fine-pitch components.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Engineering Technology, PCB Design, or a related discipline.
  • Eight or more years of professional PCB design experience.
  • Experience with controlled-impedance design, high-speed differential routing, length matching, stack-up definition.
  • Strong knowledge of low-noise analog and mixed-signal layout practices.
  • Knowledge of grounding, power integrity, EMI/EMC mitigation, ESD protection, and thermal design.
  • Experience with fine-pitch BGAs, blind/buried vias, rigid-flex designs and modern fabrication/assembly.
  • Proficiency with a professional EDA tool and component-library management; Altium Designer preferred.
  • Understanding of IPC design/acceptance standards; design-for-manufacture and design-for-test.

Responsibilities

  • Develop multilayer rigid and rigid‑flex board designs with stack-ups, vias, and design constraints.
  • Implement controlled-impedance routing and verify impedance requirements with fabricators.
  • Route high-speed signals with length matching and return-path control.
  • Apply low-noise design techniques for analog, mixed-signal, power, RF, and embedded designs.
  • Incorporate grounding, shielding, and isolation to minimize noise.
  • Mentor engineers on PCB layout standards and design practices.
