Job summary

GVI Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, seeks a Lead PCB Design & Test Engineer in San Diego, CA to drive design, test, and documentation of PCBs for C4ISR systems. You will plan and execute testing, mentor technicians, and coordinate with QA and facilities to ensure high yields and robust hardware.

The role requires a BS in engineering or related fields, 5+ years of relevant experience, and hands-on RF, networking, and spectrum analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/ME/CE/CS/IT or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5 years of C4ISR or similar large-system design, test and analysis experience.
• Senior project management experience for large programs.
• Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
• Hands-on RF, networking, HiPot, and spectrum analyzer experience.
• Test software programming; Flying Probe generation and debugging.
• Train and mentor test/repair technicians; troubleshoot tester HW/SW.
• Analyze data, optimize test/repair processes, and support QA.
• Familiar with reading technical drawings and datasheets; maintain docs.

Responsibilities

• Design and test PCB activities, updates, reverse engineering, and documentation.
• Support new capability engineering, including design, evaluation, and testing.
• Analyze results, document functional requirements, and update technical docs.
• Lead test planning, scheduling, and execution for large programs.
• Oversee test equipment installation, validation, and development.
• Mentor technicians and coordinate with facilities/vendors for calibration.
• Support quotes, trials, and process improvements; propose cost/quality fixes.
• Collaborate with Quality for FAI and corrective actions.
