Job summary

Integrity Engineering & Design Solutions seeks 3-4 experienced Altium PCB designers to support aerospace PCB and PCBA development. The selected contractors will handle PCB layout, Altium library development, and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver release-ready design packages.

The roles are 1099 contract positions expected to last 5+ months. Candidates should have deep Altium experience and a track record in high-speed signal integrity, with strong documentation

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform PCB layout and routing per schematics, constraints, and stackups.
• Develop and manage Altium libraries (symbols, footprints, 3D models).
• Generate fabrication/assembly drawings, Gerber/ODB++, BOM, PnP data, and docs.
• Participate in design reviews and verify packages before layout start.
• Maintain revision control and release packages in Teamcenter.

Job description

Integrity Engineering & Design Solutions is seeking 3-4 experienced Altium PCB designers to support aerospace PCB and PCBA development. The selected candidates will perform PCB layout and Altium library development and management while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to produce accurate, release-ready design packages.

This is a 1099 contract position that will last 5+ months.

Requirements

Required Qualification

• 5+ years of relevant professional PCB Design experience.
• Proficiency with Altium, including a minimum of 2+ years of experience.
• Experience designing high-speed signal-integrity circuitry.
• Experience creating and managing Altium library components, including schematic symbols, footprints, and 3D models.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to export-control eligibility requirements.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Perform PCBA component placement and routing from approved schematics, layout constraints, stackups, and impedance profiles, and provide input on critical design criteria.
• Create and manage Altium library components, including schematic symbols, footprints, and 3D models.
• Work in the customer-specified Altium Designer version, Altium 365 workspace, and designated repositories.
• Participate in schematic and layout reviews, verify that design packages are sufficient before layout begins, and implement review feedback.
• Generate fabrication and assembly drawings, Gerber, ODB++, IPC-2581, BOM, pick-and-place/centroid data, 3D models (if needed), analysis reports, and manufacturing/test documentation.
• Produce a clean Altium DRC report with zero critical violations against the board fabricator's capabilities.
• Maintain accurate documentation, revision control, and baselined design files; generate release packages in Teamcenter.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defense, and FAA environments.
• Familiarity with IPC standards and CID certification.
• Experience supporting high-reliability or regulated products.
• Signal-integrity analysis capability using HyperLynx, SIwave, or an approved equivalent.
