Job summary

Fresh Consulting is seeking a Sr. PCB Design Engineer to join our hardware team.

You will design schematics and boards, from simple to advanced multi-layer PCBs, while coordinating with vendors on materials, impedance, and assembly requirements. The role requires 5+ years in PCB design with Altium or Cadence/Allegro, familiarity with IPC/IEEE standards, and experience creating schematic symbols and footprints.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PCB design experience using Altium and/or Cadence/Allegro.
• Knowledge of IPC, JEDEC, IEEE, and other electronic standards.
• Experience creating schematic symbols and PCB footprints in libraries.
• Experience interpreting datasheets and schematics to generate netlists and proper constraints in the layout design.
• Experience in designing multiple PCB types: HDI, Rigid, Flex, and Rigid-Flex; Wire Bonding and Aluminum Backed Design.
• Experience in designing high speed differential, power, analog and RF circuits.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Hardware Engineering team to provide Schematic and PCB board designs.
• Layout designs ranging from simple to complex, multi-layer PCBs with analog, digital, RF, and power components.
• Liaise with PCB vendors to select materials, impedance specs, and assembly requirements.
• Create and manage PCB documentation including fabrication and assembly packages.
• Collaborate in a team environment across engineering disciplines.
