Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to drive financial analysis and pricing strategies for PBM pricing and enterprise care.

You will work with underwriting leadership to develop pricing for multiple business segments, support Caremark models, and deliver ad hoc analyses to guide client decisions. The role emphasizes deep PBM economics knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to Leadership and clients.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting experience.
• Actuarial experience and certifications are a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and technical proficiency are important.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and develop pricing recommendations to maximize client value while retaining margin.
• Develop pricing for multiple lines of business based on competitive analysis.
• Assist leadership to develop downstream pricing and provide segment-specific data.
• Complete tasks in Caremark Underwriting models and modify FAFs as needed.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support internal and client requests.
