Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to drive financial analysis and underwriting for PBM and Enterprise pricing strategies. You will work with Sales, Caremark, and Aetna Finance to optimize pricing, models, and client outcomes.

The role requires deep PBM/funding model knowledge, strong Excel skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines. 40-hour weeks, full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role, or comparable industry experience.
• Experience with PBM pricing and underwriting processes; familiarity with Caremark underwriting models and FAF systems.
• Strong Excel skills and analytical capability.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and develop recommendations to maximize client value while retaining margin in PBM and Enterprise.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on in-depth competitive analysis.
• Assist leadership to develop pricing for downstream pricing with segment data.
• Complete tasks in the Caremark Underwriting models and modify FAFs as needed.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support internal and client requests.
• Build and maintain relationships with Sales and Account Management.
