Job summary

TriNet in Atlanta, GA seeks a Sr. Payroll Tax Specialist to deliver timely multi-state payroll tax support.

You will partner with internal teams and clients to resolve tax compliance, reporting, and W-2 issues, documenting cases in Salesforce and handling high-volume tasks. The role requires 4+ years of payroll tax experience, strong knowledge of federal/state/local tax rules, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years payroll tax experience required.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local US payroll tax laws.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate multi-state payroll tax support and guidance.
• Resolve case inquiries via email and phone; document resolutions in Salesforce.
• Handle high-volume, moderately complex tax tasks and escalations.
• Assist newer Specialists as a SME and mentor teammates.
