Job summary

TriNet is seeking a payroll processing specialist to handle daily payroll duties for assigned clients, ensure accuracy in data entry and payroll tax reporting, and contribute to retirement benefit contributions. The role includes shipping payrolls, maintaining shipping instructions, and supporting client materials fulfillment.

A focus on confidentiality and attention to detail is required. The position offers in-office work in Memphis with opportunities for remote hire at management discretion

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Typically < 1 year Data Entry (Proficient) preferred.
• PeopleSoft HRMS experience preferred.
• Prior PEO experience preferred.
• Service Operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and ship daily payrolls with accuracy.
• Maintain/update permanent shipping instructions and documentation.
• Document procedures and identify service improvements.
• Support fulfillment of client and work site employee materials (e.g., COBRA notices).
• Label and distribute mail parcels; protect confidentiality.
• Uphold office organization and cleaning routines.
• Lift up to 35 lbs as needed.

You may just be the right candidate for this or other roles.A Brief OverviewThe position is responsible for processing payrolls for assigned clients, including reviewing data entry for accuracy, payroll tax reporting, and processing of retirement benefit contributions.What you will doAccurately assemble and ship daily payrolls.Maintain/update permanent shipping instructions.Assist in documenting procedures as well as identify areas where departments can improve service, delivery, and accuracy.Print, assemble and ship non-payroll related items.Support Service Operations with the fulfillment function of Client and Work Site Employee materials, i.e. COBRA notices.
