Brewer Morris is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Analyst to oversee payroll tax compliance for North America across a multi-state payroll environment. You will ensure accurate tax calculations, filings, remittances and employee tax reporting while supporting payroll operations and process improvements.

The role requires collaboration with Payroll, HR, Finance and external vendors to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of payroll tax, payroll compliance, or payroll administration experience.
• Exposure to Canadian payroll tax.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Experience managing payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and agency correspondence.
• Proficiency with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, UKG, Ceridian Dayforce, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Payroll Tax Compliance: ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and monitor regulatory updates.
• Tax Filing & Reporting: assist with quarterly and annual payroll tax filings and year-end reporting.
• Agency Correspondence & Issue Resolution: respond to notices and coordinate with tax providers and agencies.
• Systems & Process Improvement: participate in payroll tax system testing and automation initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, Accounting and vendors on tax matters.
