Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline; 11+ years of experience in finance/accounting.
• Experience in commercial or government contractor environments.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax compliance, and reporting requirements.
• Hands-on experience with payroll systems (SAP, SuccessFactors) and HRIS/payroll integrations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting; familiarity with SQL.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze and document payroll system requirements.
• Translate business needs into system specifications and plan payroll processing schedules.
• Develop and modify payroll output reports and interfaces with internal/external systems.
• Lead or support payroll system integrations and configurations; test functionality.
• Monitor tax law changes and ensure timely system updates and compliance.
• Provide end-user training and ongoing payroll system support.
• Conduct payroll data analysis to identify discrepancies and automation opportunities.
• Support payroll tax reconciliations, filings, and audits with accurate data.
• Prepare periodic summaries of payroll and accounting records.
