Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with six+ years of progressive accounting experience with a bachelor’s, or four+ years with a master’s.
• Deep understanding of GAAP, CAS, and FAR.
• Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, and multi-state tax agency systems; strong MS Excel/Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers payroll accounting processes: compensation, deductions, taxes, and related transactions.
• Prepares and reconciles payroll journal entries and general ledger accounts.
• Performs monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll account reconciliations.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state/local payroll tax regulations and filings.
• Supports year-end payroll activities, audits, and reporting.
• Assists with payroll system implementations and process improvements.
