The ideal candidate has 3+ years of payroll processing experience, including union payroll, and can manage complex pay structures under tight deadlines. Strong Excel skills and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience required.
• Experience with union payroll strongly preferred.
• Background in construction, utilities, infrastructure, or field-service environments is desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly, weekly, and off-cycle payrolls for multiple employee groups.
• Administer payroll for union and project-based employees.
• Manage payroll calculations, deductions, garnishments, and union-related requirements.
• Ensure employees are paid accurately and in compliance with regulations and labor agreements.
• Review payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and research payroll-related issues.
• Maintain payroll records, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Partner with HR, Accounting, and Operations to ensure accurate processing.
• Assist with payroll audits, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance initiatives.
• Support special projects and process improvement within payroll.
