Job summary

Planned Parenthood Federation of America seeks a Senior Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate, compliant payroll runs across multiple states. You will QA pre-processing data, manage complex tax rules, and act as the UKG system lead for enhancements and integrations.

Under the Payroll Manager, you will support year-end activities, W-2 issuance, and audits, while collaborating with Finance, IT, and HR to optimize payroll processes and maintain data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• FPC preferred; CPP required.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and union scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Execute and QA/QC payroll runs with strong attention to tax and compliance.
• Support year-end activities, W-2 issuance, and tax reconciliations.
• Act as UKG functional user; assist with system upgrades and integrations.
• Coordinate with Finance, IT, and HR on payroll data and audits.
• Monitor terminations and ensure compliance with last pay laws.
• Respond to unemployment claims and assist audits (401k, statements).
• Identify and implement process improvements in payroll workflows.
