Champions Group in California is seeking a Payroll Specialist to process weekly and bi-weekly payroll across multiple entities in a high-volume environment. You will ensure accuracy, compliance with federal/state laws, and timely payroll transmissions using ADP Workforce Now.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's preferred.
• 5–6 years payroll processing experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience processing payroll for multiple companies/entities with 4–5 FEINs in a multi-state environment.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now, payroll processing and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, garnishments, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll in a high-volume environment, ensuring accuracy.
• Use ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll processing on a weekly/bi-weekly schedule.
• Audit payroll data, timekeeping, overtime, bonuses, reimbursements for discrepancies.
• Prepare payroll-related reports and perform data analysis in Excel.
• Assist with payroll audits, system improvements, and audits of 401(k) and workers' comp.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee payroll information.
