HES Facilities Management in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for a fast-paced, multi-state workforce using Winteam and ADP systems. You will ensure accurate compensation, apply applicable laws, respond to inquiries, and partner with leadership to approve payments, garnishments, and adjustments in a timely, compliant manner.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience across multiple states.
• Proficient in payroll processing and compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations.
• Experience with ADP and Winteam or similar systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing using Winteam and ADP Smart Compliance.
• Maintain and process payroll records and reports for salary/wage accruals and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Troubleshoot payroll-related inquiries and escalate when necessary.
• Audit current processes to reduce payroll errors.
• Provide leadership support and guidance as needed.
• Process garnishment notices and obtain proper approvals for payments.
