Job summary

Eskola, LLC, a leader in roofing and waterproofing systems across the North and southeastern U.S., is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our on-site Knoxville team. The role supports weekly payroll processing for hourly and salaried staff and reports to the Payroll Manager.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of payroll experience, strong data entry accuracy, and knowledge of state payroll taxes. This full-time position is on-site in Knoxville, TN with competitive benefits and growth

• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Working knowledge of payroll tax processing and on-site availability in Knoxville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Payroll Manager with weekly processing of payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• Review and process timecards, and audit earnings and deductions for accuracy.
• Assist with processing of state payroll taxes.
• Assist with year-end reporting and W-2 processing tasks.
• Assist with Certified Payroll processing and reports for applicable projects.
• Perform accurate, timely data entry of deduction updates.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal customers regarding payroll-related questions.

Payroll Specialist

Full-Time (On-Site), Monday-Friday

Eskola, LLC has been installing commercial and industrial roofing and waterproofing systems throughout the North and southeastern U.S. since 1972. Headquartered in Knoxville, TN, we’re seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team and support the weekly processing of payroll across our branches.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Specialist reviews and processes timecards for hourly and salaried employees, audits earnings and deductions, assists with state payroll tax processing, and maintains accurate payroll data. This is an on-site role based in our Knoxville, TN office.

What You’ll Do

• Assist the Payroll Manager with weekly processing of payroll for hourly and salaried employees

• Assist with processing of state payroll taxes
• Assist with year-end reporting and W-2 processing tasks
• Assist with Certified Payroll processing and reports for applicable projects

What You Bring

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on payroll processing experience
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Working knowledge of payroll tax processing
• Ability to work on-site in Knoxville, TN and meet weekly payroll deadlines

Nice to Have

• Commercial construction payroll processing experience
• Certified Payroll (prevailing wage) processing experience
• Experience with Foundation, CenterPoint, and/or ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
