Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our client service team. The role focuses on accurate payroll processing, ensuring timely and compliant payrolls, and delivering top-notch service to multiple clients using ADP RUN.

You will establish strong client relationships, maintain data confidentiality, and support implementation projects while staying current with federal and state payroll practices.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant payroll experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
• CPP preferred.
• Experience with ADP RUN software and implementation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and process payrolls timely, update records, calculate bonuses or severance, and reconcile payroll deposits.
• Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions.
• Establish strong client relationships and maintain data confidentiality.
• Provide technical software support to clients and help identify out-of-scope work.
• Manage new client implementation projects and train clients on payroll processes.
