Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Sr. Payroll Operations Analyst based in the United States. You will own end-to-end payroll operations across multiple entities, acting as the primary payroll processor and systems administrator to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely pay cycles.

You will work with HR, Finance, and Legal to build scalable processes and guide employees on pay and related matters. The role requires strong analytical skills, multi-state tax knowledge, and proficiency with HRIS and payroll

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll operations in multi-state environments.
• Advanced proficiency with HRIS and payroll platforms.
• Strong data validation and accuracy in high-volume payroll.
• Knowledge of wage and hour regulations and multi-state tax.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; FPC/CPP certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end biweekly payroll processing for all on-cycle and off-cycle runs.
• Manage payroll exceptions, overrides, and audit trails with proper controls.
• Validate payroll results, reports, and tax withholding across states.
• Process garnishments, levies, and year-end tax reconciliation.
• Develop ad hoc payroll reports for Finance, People, and Legal teams.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, People Operations, and Legal on inputs and audits.
