Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in complex payroll or accounting clerical work.
• Two years supervising a payroll operation at Payroll Officer 1 level.
• College courses may substitute for up to two years of experience.
• Preferred: HR statutes, PeopleSoft payroll, benefits processing, MS 365 tools, payroll discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise payroll operations for 10 facilities.
• Oversee 24/7/365 payrolls with retroactive payments and garnishments.
• Train, guide, and evaluate staff; set priorities.
• Interpret payroll policies and respond to inquiries.
• Oversee payroll record keeping and reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll budget data and fringe benefits processing.
