Job summary

24Seven Hotels is seeking a Senior Payroll Manager in Irvine, CA to lead accurate, compliant payroll operations for a high-volume, multi-property workforce. You will oversee payroll processing, tax compliance, reporting, audit support, payroll systems, and benefits administration.

Responsibilities include managing biweekly payrolls, ensuring timely tax returns and W-2s, and partnering with Total Rewards and Finance on 401(k) and ACA programs. Strong ADP and ERP skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred; equivalent payroll leadership experience may be considered.
• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience with multi-state, multi-site, high-volume responsibilities; hospitality or hourly workforce experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and payroll tax, wage and hour compliance, and related benefits administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead bi-weekly payroll operations with accuracy, urgency, and care for associates; include payroll review, submission, manual checks, timecard reporting, and bonuses.
• Anticipate compliance deadlines and manage payroll tax, wage and hour, ACA support, 1095 data, and related reconciliations.
• Maintain payroll setup, earning/deduction codes, PTO configuration, and Wisely administration; ensure smooth payroll runs.
• Own reconciliations for earnings, W-2 data, benefit deductions, and workers compensation earnings.
• Partner with Total Rewards and Finance on workers compensation, 401(k), leave, vendor invoices, and payroll-related benefits.
• Provide recurring and ad hoc reporting to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
• Support onboarding/offboarding for hotels, data integrity, and process improvements; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Utilize ADP, Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Profit Sage to keep workflows organized and transparent.
