Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Multi-state payroll experience.
• Knowledge of federal and state wage and hour regulations.
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paylocity, or UKG.
• Strong Excel Skills and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule for hourly and salaried employees.
• Review and audit timekeeping data, including overtime, PTO, and shift differentials.
• Administer garnishments, deductions, benefit elections, and 401(k) contributions.
• Reconcile payroll registers and prepare payroll journal entries for the general ledger.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour requirements.
• Prepare and reconcile quarterly and annual filings including W-2s.
• Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies.
• Support audits, workers compensation reporting, and payroll system improvements.
