Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience with leadership.
• Construction, engineering, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with bi-weekly and weekly payroll schedules.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll tax laws.
• CPP designation is a significant plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Proficient with HCM/payroll systems (Workday/SAP/Oracle) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end multi-state payroll processing for 5,000+ employees.
• Lead two Payroll Supervisors and mentor staff.
• Ensure compliance with CBAs and Davis-Bacon Act.
• Partner with HR, IT, and Legal to optimize processes.
• Oversee payroll tax filings, year-end processing, and audits.
• Deliver accurate reporting and data analytics.
