The role ensures accurate, timely processing, adherence to federal/state regulations, and strong internal controls across benefits and HR partners. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, leadership capability, and in-depth knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state payroll laws and wage-hour rules.
• Experience with 401(k) contributions, loans, garnishments, and compliance reporting.
• Proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems and data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end processing for bi-weekly payroll with accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Oversee payroll contributions, loans, and reconciliations; coordinate with plan providers.
• Manage employee garnishments and creditor orders; support Canada payroll coordination as needed.
• Maintain SOPs, workflows, and internal controls to reflect current laws and best practices.
• Prepare payroll reports, GL files, tax reconciliations, and variance analyses for Finance and leadership.
