Job summary

Android Industries in Auburn Hills is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead the payroll team and manage US and Canada payrolls for hourly and salaried staff across multiple entities. The role requires ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing, while coordinating with HRIS, Finance, and plant leadership to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of payroll experience, strong knowledge of wage laws and collective bargaining agreements, and Dayforce experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Ten or more years of progressively responsible payroll experience.
• Experience managing multi-jurisdictional payroll operations in the United States and Canada.
• Experience supporting hourly and salaried team members in a multi-site environment; manufacturing payroll preferred.
• Experience administering payroll for union-represented employees; CPP/PCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll team, provide coaching and cross-training.
• Oversee US and Canadian payrolls across multiple entities and locations.
• Ensure timely processing, accuracy, and compliance with laws and union agreements.
• Review payroll results before finalization; manage tax and deductions.
• Maintain payroll calendars, procedures, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with HRIS and Finance; resolve payroll issues.
• Handle quarter/year-end tasks, including W-2s and T4s.
