Job summary

oumedicine is seeking a Manager of Payroll to oversee payroll processes, systems, and staff for its multi-entity hospital system. You will ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll for more than 10,000 employees, manage bi-weekly payroll cycles, and maintain payroll records with pay rates, deductions, and benefits.

The role requires 5+ years in payroll and 3+ years in leadership, a Bachelor's in Business or related field, and CPP certification within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business - accounting, HR, or finance required.
• CPP certification required within 12 months.
• 5+ years payroll experience with 3+ years of progressive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day payroll activities for OU Health staff.
• Ensures accurate bi-weekly payroll processing and distributions.
• Maintains payroll records including pay rates and deductions.
• Prepares tax payments and 401K contributions on schedule.
• Assists with payroll tax forms and timekeeping system maintenance.
• Responds to payroll inquiries and provides staff training.
