Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Payroll Manager to lead a full-cycle payroll function across multiple states, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and strategic cost control.

You will steer ERP-related payroll transformations, partner with finance on labor costing, and build a high-performing payroll team in a growth-oriented, family-like culture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience with full-cycle ownership.
• Deep expertise in multi-state, union payroll environments.
• Experience with payroll system implementations or ERP integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize end-to-end payroll across a complex, multi-state environment.
• Ensure compliance with union agreements, prevailing wage, and certified payroll requirements; oversee taxes, W-2s, filings, and reconciliations.
• Drive payroll system and ERP conversion, integrating with accounting and job costing.
• Partner with finance on labor costing, reporting, and process alignment.
• Build, mentor, and elevate the payroll team.
• Serve as a key advisor to leadership on payroll strategy, compliance, and risk.

Salary: $120,000 - $145,000 + 10-15% bonus + ESOP
