Job summary

Mission Bridge Partners seeks a Senior Payroll Manager to own end-to-end payroll operations for a federal contracting environment. The role requires leading payroll across multiple FEINs, ensuring accurate, on-time payments and strict regulatory compliance, including DCAA requirements.

The position is hybrid, with 1-2 days onsite in McLean, VA, and involves supporting acquisitions, payroll migrations, audits, and system improvements while partnering with HR, Finance, and Accounting to maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• 5-7+ years of progressive payroll experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong experience in federal government contracting payroll environments.
• Hands-on Deltek Costpoint experience required.
• Experience with payroll platforms such as Paylocity or comparable systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing for all employees across multiple entities/FEINs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, DOL, and DCAA regulations.
• Support audits and payroll-related documentation for internal, external, and government audits.
• Manage payroll-related benefits deductions, reconciliations, and off-cycle processing.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and Accounting to maintain accurate employee data and payroll controls.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
