Job summary

Hydrogen UK Ltd in Leander, TX is seeking a senior Lead Payroll Specialist to own payroll operations across multiple states in a highly regulated aerospace and manufacturing environment.

You will manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, and act as the payroll systems SME for ADP Workforce Now and Workday, while collaborating with HR and Finance to maintain controls and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of progressive payroll experience in a multi-state environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local payroll tax regulations.
• Experience with manufacturing/aerospace or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
• Experience ensuring strong financial controls, auditability and fiduciary scrutiny.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or Workday.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end biweekly, multi-cycle and off-cycle payroll across states and entities.
• Review earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments and inputs for accuracy.
• Lead year-end activities including W-2 preparation and reconciliation.
• Maintain payroll calendars, controls and governance.
• Collaborate with HR for employee changes affecting payroll.
