Job summary

The London NYC, a Luxury Collection Hotel, seeks a Payroll Manager to own and optimize the hotel's payroll function. You will ensure accurate, timely processing for salaried, hourly, union, non-union, management, and tipped staff while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and hotel policies.

You will lead audits, manage changes, and partner with HR and Accounting to sustain accurate master data and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of payroll experience in a complex hospitality or multi-department setting is preferred.
  • Experience with union and non-union payroll and ADP is highly desirable.
  • Luxury or full-service hotel payroll experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Review inputs: hours, PTO, holidays, bonuses, gratuities, and other earnings.
  • Ensure accurate pay rates, classifications, and payroll coding.
  • Maintain knowledge of collective bargaining agreements.
  • Handle lifecycle changes: hires, transfers, promotions, leaves, terminations.
  • Perform pre- and post-payroll audits for discrepancies.
  • Prepare reports for union audits and payroll governance.
  • Maintain payroll records and compliance with laws and policies.
  • Collaborate with HR and Accounting on master data and changes.
  • Support month-end/year-end close and payroll tax reporting.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism.
