The ideal candidate has at least five years of payroll experience, PCP/PLP designation, strong Excel skills, and the ability to handle confidential data while coordinating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment.

Qualifications

• PCP or PLP designation required.
• Post-secondary education in Payroll, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related.
• Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience including full-cycle processing.
• Experience supporting shadow payroll or internationally mobile employees is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer accurate, full-cycle payrolls for salaried, subcontractors and international secondees.
• Process bi-weekly payroll cycles.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and employee records.
• Review, validate, and reconcile payroll data prior to submission.
• Audit timesheets and related backups for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate payroll setup for new hires and terminations.
• Manage payroll activities for international employees working in Canada.
• Maintain shadow payroll documentation and reconciliations.
• Prepare time-off reports and ad hoc reports for managers.
