P\S\L Group is seeking a Senior Payroll Manager to own the US and Canadian payroll lifecycle with accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and confidentiality. You will guide the full payroll process and partner with Talent, Finance, Legal, employees, and vendors to maintain strong controls and scalable practices.

This highly autonomous role requires 5+ years of multi-jurisdiction payroll experience, ADP proficiency, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset in a professional services environment.

Competenze

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including independent ownership of multi-state US payroll.
• Hands-on US year-end payroll experience, including W-2 and W-3 review and reconciliation.
• Experience with Canadian payroll requirements and cross-border payroll considerations.
• Proficiency with ADP or other payroll platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze large payroll datasets and identify discrepancies.
• Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently.

Mansioni

• Lead end-to-end biweekly payroll processing for US and Canadian employees, including regular wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, deductions, reimbursements, terminations, and off-cycle payments.
• Act as the primary internal expert for US federal, state, local, and Canadian payroll requirements, including income tax deductions, CPP/EI, provincial obligations, and statutory reporting.
• Review and validate payroll inputs before each cycle, including time data, rate changes, commissions, tax elections, and master data.
• Support registrations and maintain compliance calendars for payroll, tax, and reporting deadlines.
• Review, investigate, and coordinate responses to payroll tax notices, agency inquiries, audits, and other compliance matters.
• Maintain secure and confidential handling of employee payroll information in accordance with policies and privacy requirements.
